Scotland 15: England 9

This week's entry is dedicated to the gut determination and insuppressible spirit of the Scottish rugby team and nation. We may be heading for the wooden spoon in the Six Nations Rugby tournament, but we have won the moral victory. Last night, the lads squashed the enemy in Scottish style at Murrayfield with the rain pouring doon. I am disappointed to say I didn't get to watch the match and i know many of you will have been sad to miss out on my annual Scotland v England rugby party...maybe it'll be repeated in a couple of years. But, respect to Scotland is due and i now feel vindicated that the Scottish eternal optimism is warranted as sometimes, just sometimes it comes true.

Other than that, i've been a very good civil servant this week and written lots of guidelines/proposals/emails that probably no one will ever read. I have also resolved to spend more time with Rwandans...it is too easy to spend all my time with expats and frankly i want to get to know my colleagues much better as well as people at church.

Also, just to reassure those of you who have been seeing facebook updates and worrying about Epi. She was very sick and was actually paralysed half way to work. But thankfully she is all better now and is in fact improved. The petrol tank has been fixed so i can feed her a full tank of petrol for the first time since i got her...it was the highlight of my week in some ways!

Finally, I've uploaded some photos from the trip with my parents...

M&D in Rwanda

okay, i'm off to bible study and some mustache judging...

p.s. things have been a bit busy but i am determined to write lots of emails this week and phone lots of people to catch up...so watch out for those unrecognised numbers on your phone :)
