Just got an email from ODI with a lot of details about our briefing week. And yes, I have homework. Firstly, as an ice-breaker, we'll be doing 'Show and Tell' with something from out country posting. This scares me as i'll have to speak to 40 people i've never me, but already have thoughts about what to bring. Rwandan Maraba coffee - i've been reading in my trusty guide and i discovered this coffee which is sold in Sainsbury's and Starbucks. The majority of the workforce is made up of widows from the genoocide in 1994. A good symbol for the progress Rwanda has made since that dark time in their history (wikipedia entry). The second bit of homework is a biography of myself on an A4 page that will be but up on a board for all the other fellows & staff to see - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!ps - the photo is from my preparatory work on my biography :)
