Summer is not a good time for me in Rwanda i think. It is the time when friends leave. This brings melancholy and sadness that things can't stay the way they are.
But now Autumn has arrived, and it has brought new faces to Kigali. 4 new ODIs have arrived plus one HODI(husband of ODI), some old friends have returned from summer travels and things are settling down again.
The rainy season has started so my umbrella is always in my back and a scarf too.
I had my one-year anniversary on 2nd October. I now feel like i have more of an idea of what i'm doing at work and am living in a place the i'm at ease in. Having the new ODIs arrive reminds me how clueless i was a year ago.
Nothing very significant is happening other than the usual joys and challenges of life. Which makes me very happy but doesn't make for an interesting blog entry.

I'll put thoughts, photos, prayer points, people i've met, things i've done, etc. I'll be keeping in touch more personally via email every so often and please please please add comments and read this often. This is part of keeping me sane when i'm a continent away and wondering why i left everybody i love...
