busy busy busy

Apologies for being a few days late on this week's entry. As you'd expect, life is getting busy but i'm determined to keep the blog updated. My other excuse is that we had power cuts in Kimihurura over the weekend making internet access a bit difficult.

Its all go with the house. I paid my first 2 months rent and got my key yesterday! Moving in tomorrow afternoon although as yet, i have no mattress to sleep on and no cooker but hopefully this will be rectified tomorrow.

Also, my old school friend arrived on sunday and finally managed to say hello to him last night. I'm so looking forward to showing him round Kigali on saturday, pretending i know what i'm talking about.

Work has been frustrating but got a lot better today. I've still had very little to do and each day i fail to recollect exactly what i'm achieved. Its amazing how dramatically my mood changed as soon as i had a tangible piece of work to get my teeth into...i am such a simple being.

Life has been getting busier, which is more like me. I really don't think loneliness will be a problem...

I'm really struggling to be eloquent or interesting today, obviously sundays are a good day for me artistically so i'd better stick to that.


ooh, how about some prayer points:

• thank Him for providing in so so so many ways - friends, house, car, church family. I am just so thankful to be here. I realised today that I am getting to live the dream - i am here doing what i've wanted to do for a long time and its all down to God's grace.
• thank Him for you guys back home - the supportive emails and message have meant so much.
  
• Pray for guidance in settling into the right church.
• Pray that i would be approaching work with a Godly attitude where I am serving Him first & foremost - especially that He would help me to get up for 7am :)
• Pray that i would be loving Him and others everyday.
